Welcome. My name is Zheng Zhou (周正). I also go by the Chinese courtesy name (字) Ven-Ji (聞岐). Currently, I am pursuing my PhD degree in physics at Perimeter Institute, Canada. 

I find myself deeply attracted by theoretical physics, especially quantum many-body physics. I focus on using conformal field theory to study critical behaviours and using the quantum Monte Carlo simulation to study exotic spin systems.

As my name 聞岐 (Ven-Ji, to be aware of the branch roads) indicates, I also have many paths other than physics to take. I enjoy photography, Latin calligraphy and cooking, as can be found in the Gallery.
